This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a representative and promote New World Medical’s surgical glaucoma product range to eye care professionals, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers within the designated Inland Empire territory.
• Sustain and enhance annual sales volume within the region.
• Meet both territory-level and corporate business targets.
• Offer product and technical guidance on the appropriate application of surgical glaucoma products.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the territory along with a routing schedule.
• Organize and carry out pre-scheduled daily visits.
• Introduce physicians to New World Medical's surgical glaucoma offerings.
• Conduct wet labs to educate ophthalmic residents and physicians.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Address customer inquiries within twelve hours, perform follow-up tasks, and resolve any issues.
• Engage in conventions, educational events, area/regional meetings, and customer networking opportunities.
• Effectively manage and prioritize time to achieve territorial objectives.
• Fulfill administrative duties, including completing expense reports and managing email/voicemail communications.
• Report directly to the U.S. Regional Sales Manager.
• A 4-year degree is highly preferred.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years in ophthalmic, ophthalmic surgical, or medical device experience, possessing strong existing customer relationships and a proven performance history.
• If holding a 4-year degree, at least 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device sector is required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM system is preferred.
• Experience with vendor credentialing in the medical industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the United States.
• A valid driver’s license and passport with no significant driving violations.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong presentation skills for audiences of up to 30 individuals.
• Ability to showcase products in real-time situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep precise records and receipts.
• Competence in following through, following up, completing tasks, and formulating immediate solutions.
