This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Accept, classify, and evaluate user inquiries.
• Comprehend users’ challenges and the surrounding business environment.
• Deliver clear, informative, and customized responses.
• Monitor tickets until complete resolution.
• Refer complex issues to the technical or product teams.
• Maintain a high standard of service quality.
• Assist in-house and accounting-firm accountants in importing their data into Pennylane.
• Grasp the challenges associated with transitioning from another accounting software solution.
• Recognize potential obstacles and facilitate their resolution.
• Contribute to enhancing relevant processes and documentation.
• Create and revise user-facing help resources.
• Identify recurring queries and encourage customer self-service.
• Share accounting expertise with the team.
• Communicate pain points and needs to the product teams.
• Propose enhancements to internal processes and tools.
• Gradually evolve into a product and business expert, capable of spotting areas for improvement and leading projects.
• Accounting qualification: BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Accounting Management, Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Audit (CCA), or equivalent credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Ideally, experience completing at least three tax-year cycles.
• Direct experience collaborating with business owners is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and the everyday realities of accounting firms.
• Enthusiasm for digital tools and emerging technologies.
• Self-driven, curious, and possesses strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and instructional skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation with ease in building client relationships.
• Ability to collaborate within a team and adapt swiftly.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with product developments.
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, listening, and writing).
• Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus.
• Ability to work in English as required by the role.
