Supply Chain Systems Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute supply chain and logistics procedures for Molex’s Optical Connectivity Group.

• Oversee the design and ongoing enhancement of demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and manufacturing logistics processes.

• Analyze existing processes, pinpoint challenges and control deficiencies, and outline standardized future-state workflows supported by ERP and MES.

• Direct ERP and MES business workstreams, encompassing design, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, and resolution of issues.

• Convert business requirements into process designs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and deployment strategies.

• Manage pilots, integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover readiness, go-live assistance, and post-implementation troubleshooting.

• Facilitate integration across ERP, MES, planning, procurement, warehouse, transportation, product data, and reporting systems.

• Oversee master data governance for materials, suppliers, sourcing, bills of materials, routings, production versions, inventory locations, and logistics.

• Establish process standards, decision-making rights, controls, KPIs, and ownership frameworks.

• Spearhead standardization and implementation across regions, functions, and manufacturing locations.

• Create implementation roadmaps, readiness evaluations, deployment phases, resource plans, and transition strategies.

• Collaborate with local process owners, subject-matter experts, super users, and site leadership.

• Lead change management initiatives, stakeholder communications, training sessions, workshops, issue resolution, and cross-functional decision-making escalation.

• Track adoption, process performance, and realization of benefits post-deployment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading enterprise ERP, MES, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing system implementations.

• Strong program or project management expertise, including planning, risk management, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

• Experience in one or more supply chain domains such as planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation, logistics, order fulfillment, or manufacturing operations.

• Ability to effectively map business processes and convert them into system workflows and requirements.

• Knowledge of working with master data, system integrations, business controls, and operational reporting.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and cross-functional leadership abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across global teams, functions, and manufacturing sites.

• Familiarity with SAP or another tier-one ERP platform, covering supply chain, logistics, production planning, materials management, or warehouse capabilities.

• Experience with MES platforms and the integration of shop-floor execution with ERP.

• Knowledge in warehouse management, transportation management, advanced planning, supplier collaboration, or supply chain visibility solutions.

• Understanding of manufacturing traceability, inventory controls, production execution, and material movement processes.

• Experience supporting global template design and multi-site rollouts.

• Background in discrete manufacturing, electronics, optical connectivity, or other complex global manufacturing environments.

• Proven track record in defining process metrics and achieving measurable operational benefits.

• Demonstrated adaptability, agility, creativity, and proficiency in managing ambiguity.
