This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality, supply continuity, and risk management.
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, qualification, onboarding, and ongoing management of supplier relationships.
• Manage contract manufacturing partners, supplier performance, initiatives for cost reduction, and sourcing efforts for new product launches.
• Monitor market conditions and geopolitical risks to proactively identify and mitigate potential supply disruptions.
• Take ownership of procurement processes, including RFQs, purchasing, P2P workflows, and procurement KPIs.
• Lead demand and supply planning across various channels, encompassing forecasting, inventory levels, purchasing, and management of excess or obsolete inventory.
• Analyze demand patterns, lead times, landed costs, and supply trends to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Manage relationships and performance of 3PL, carrier, and freight-forwarder services.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, landed COGS, and maintenance of product/master data across systems.
• Oversee the flow of inbound and outbound inventory, along with freight and logistics operations.
• Lead cross-functional supply chain and operations projects, managing priorities, timelines, risks, and communication with stakeholders.
• Establish scalable operating rhythms across planning, procurement, and resource management.
• Manage the operations budget and act as a strategic operating partner to the COO.
• Lead and nurture the Supply Chain and Project Management teams.
• Develop reliable demand and supply planning, supplier networks, sourcing programs, consolidated demand plans, and standardized master data to facilitate the ERP transition.
• Report directly to and collaborate closely with the COO.
• 7–10+ years of leadership experience in operations and supply chain, preferably in high-growth consumer products, DTC, or e-commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Extensive experience managing contract manufacturers and suppliers, including sourcing, negotiation, pricing, performance management, and ensuring supply continuity.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing and achieving measurable cost savings.
• Strong expertise in demand and supply planning, including forecasting, inventory strategy, and planning processes developed from the ground up.
• Proficient in managing 3PL, fulfillment, and logistics partnerships.
• Familiarity with ERP implementations, systems transitions, or similar operational changes.
• Proven leadership skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Fully remote, US-based position.
