This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Oversee daily Inventory Fix intake, prioritization, assignment, research, correction, approval support, and closure across designated retail systems and states.
β’ Ensure that all supporting documentation is complete and reliable prior to making changes to inventory records.
β’ Set and monitor service levels for aging, response time, resolution time, backlog, and escalated requests.
β’ Review and escalate requests that are higher-risk, unusual, material, or recurring, which may indicate potential control breakdowns, fraud, theft, regulatory exposure, or systemic issues.
β’ Coordinate support for scheduled retail physical inventories, including preparation of count files, review of uploads, variance support, posting, and controlled resolution of system exceptions.
β’ Document exceptions from physical inventories, unresolved variances, late submissions, unsupported changes, and accountable operational owners.
β’ Investigate inventory movement and transaction history across SAP, OMS, Dutchie, MJ Platform, Metrc, BioTrack, and other relevant systems.
β’ Identify and document system defects, interface failures, packaging or batch issues, data conversion errors, and other conditions impacting inventory accuracy.
β’ Escalate system problems to IT or application support, providing evidence, business impact, affected locations, and needed resolutions.
β’ Engage in user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, and monitoring after implementation.
β’ Execute authorized inventory changes while maintaining evidence of requests, reviews, approvals, executions, and validations.
β’ Document ticket types, required inputs, research steps, decision rules, procedures, approvals, state-specific requirements, and escalation scenarios.
β’ Maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, decision trees, and examples for Inventory Fix requests.
β’ Cross-train backup resources and ensure critical activity coverage.
β’ Support a uniform national ticket taxonomy and identify opportunities for workflow simplification, automation, or portal integration.
β’ Maintain ticket data and offer operational expertise for trend analysis and root cause analysis.
β’ Suggest methods to minimize preventable tickets, backlog, recurring issues, manual efforts, and reliance on Inventory Fix.
β’ Collaborate with Retail Operations, Compliance, Technology, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Profit Protection to resolve exceptions and clarify ownership.
β’ Communicate requirements, risks, and unresolved issues to store and functional leaders.
β’ Aid in inventory-integrity investigations by providing system history, transaction evidence, correction records, and subject-matter expertise.
β’ Ensure compliance with state regulatory and seed-to-sale inventory requirements.
β’ A minimum of five years of progressive experience in retail inventory, inventory control, store operations, regulated inventory, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience in researching inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and processing controlled inventory corrections.
β’ Capability to manage detailed operational tasks, competing deadlines, month-end activities, and escalation priorities with accuracy and discipline.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document decisions, procedures, risks, and unresolved issues.
β’ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ticketing or workflow systems.
β’ Experience in training or cross-training others on systems and inventory procedures.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively across Retail Operations, Compliance, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
β’ Background in a complex, multi-state, highly regulated retail environment.
β’ Familiarity with SAP or SAP Fiori, OMS, Dutchie, MJ Platform, Metrc, BioTrack, Zendesk, OpenText, or similar platforms.
β’ Experience in supporting physical inventory counts, system implementations, user acceptance testing, and data-conversion activities.
β’ Knowledge of SOX documentation expectations, inventory audit trails, segregation of duties, and change authorization.
β’ Involvement in workflow automation, structured intake, reporting, or inventory governance improvement initiatives.
β’ Experience in cannabis retail or seed-to-sale inventory management.
β’ Availability to work extended hours during month-end physical inventories, system implementations, or urgent inventory events, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
