This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.
• Oversee inventory levels and product availability throughout the organization
• Analyze inventory movement, usage, and demand data to pinpoint shortages, surplus inventory, and supply chain risks
• Assist in forecasting and replenishment planning
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and reconcile the flow of incoming and outgoing products
• Manage and supervise purchase orders from their creation to fulfillment
• Verify orders for accuracy, pricing, quantities, completeness, and delivery specifications
• Monitor open orders and follow up on late, missed, or incomplete shipments
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address order and fulfillment challenges
• Maintain supplier relationships and assess supplier performance
• Escalate and resolve supplier-related issues impacting product availability or restaurant operations
• Assist in supplier negotiations and identify improvements in pricing, terms, and efficiency
• Keep supply chain reports and trackers updated using Excel or Google Sheets
• Analyze inventory, purchasing, supplier, and shipment data
• Develop reports on supply chain performance
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and recommend process enhancements
• Coordinate daily priorities for a small supply chain team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate supply chain requirements and concerns
• Take ownership of operational issues until resolved
• Enhance processes, documentation, reporting, and overall efficiency
• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement/purchasing, inventory management, supply planning, or a related field
• Extensive hands-on experience in inventory management and purchasing/procurement
• Proven experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort with large volumes of operational data
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a US-based team
• Willingness to work during US business hours
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring supply chain team members is preferred
• Background in restaurants, food & beverage, FMCG/CPG, retail, food manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-intense environment is preferred
• Experience with demand or supply planning and forecasting is preferred
• Experience in managing supplier performance and negotiating with vendors is preferred
• Familiarity with identifying cost-saving or process-improvement opportunities is preferred
• Experience leading or supporting a small team is preferred
• Familiarity with BI or reporting tools is an advantage
