This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Oversee the supply planning and operational execution across an expanding range of consumer wellness and supplement brands.
β’ Manage the product flow from demand planning and purchase orders through manufacturing, quality release, warehousing, and fulfillment.
β’ Monitor inventory levels, sales velocity, open orders, projected stock coverage, and demand forecasts for each SKU.
β’ Identify potential stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels while managing working capital effectively.
β’ Prepare, submit, track, and reconcile purchase orders.
β’ Act as the primary operational liaison for contract manufacturers and key suppliers.
β’ Monitor production schedules, escalate delays, and coordinate production priorities, launches, reformulations, and product transitions.
β’ Take ownership of brand-side quality and compliance decisions, including product release, holds, disposition, investigations, corrective actions, traceability, and recall readiness.
β’ Apply dietary supplement cGMP regulations, including 21 CFR Part 111, to supplier oversight and outsourced manufacturing processes.
β’ Review quality documentation, testing protocols, labels, packaging, claims, version control, and final artwork approvals.
β’ Coordinate packaging artwork and maintain approved artwork, specifications, proofs, and production records.
β’ Manage the relationship with the third-party logistics provider, monitoring receiving, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, damages, backorders, and shipping exceptions.
β’ Analyze fulfillment, parcel, freight, packaging, and accessorial costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
β’ Maintain accurate records for inventory, purchase orders, production, receipts, and balances.
β’ Report on stock coverage, at-risk SKUs, open orders, delivery commitments, and purchasing needs.
β’ Develop scalable operational processes and documentation.
β’ Report directly to the CEO without supervising any direct reports.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
β’ Direct experience in managing both contract manufacturers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
β’ Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to translate sales and inventory data into informed purchasing decisions.
β’ Proven experience in creating and managing purchase orders and reconciling them against receipts and invoices.
β’ Familiarity with dietary supplement cGMP regulations under 21 CFR Part 111, including the quality responsibilities of a brand that outsources manufacturing, such as label compliance, product release, traceability, and recall readiness.
β’ Sound judgment with a readiness to take ownership of quality and compliance decisions, document the rationale for decisions, and consult qualified expertise when necessary.
β’ Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
β’ Comfortable collaborating across various internal teams and external partners within a globally distributed team.
β’ Strong spreadsheet proficiency with the ability to learn inventory, ERP, accounting, and warehouse systems.
β’ Availability to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with some flexibility.
β’ Experience in supplements is highly preferred; prior experience in a regulated product category is not mandatory.
