This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Take charge of Samako's complete supply chain, encompassing demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relations.
• Create rolling forecasts for 3, 6, and 12 months by analyzing sales history, seasonality, marketing initiatives, product launches, and commercial objectives.
• Ensure optimal stock levels across Bol.com, Amazon, Shopify, and wholesale channels.
• Strategize replenishments and oversee purchasing cycles to facilitate timely procurement and delivery.
• Spearhead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, coordinating efforts across demand, purchasing, inventory, marketing, and finance.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and warehouse partners.
• Develop a robust supplier and logistics network through effective contingency planning and backup options.
• Enhance production, inventory, and logistics efficiency while managing costs effectively.
• Support international growth, additional 3PLs, new sales channels, and the expansion of B2B operations.
• Ensure adherence to European import/export regulations, customs requirements, and HS codes.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs and take proactive measures to address risks, delays, and inefficiencies.
• Establish scalable, data-driven systems and automate operational processes.
• Document workflows and continuously refine processes for improvement.
• Assess forecasts, inventory levels, and replenishment needs across different channels.
• Coordinate purchase orders and deliveries with international suppliers and logistics partners.
• Proactively identify stockouts, overstocks, delays, and cost inefficiencies.
• Align purchasing and inventory strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Track supply chain performance and provide actionable insights to the COO and CEO.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
• At least 3 years of experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce.
• Strong capabilities in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and analytics.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with inventory planning tools is a plus.
• Experience in managing international suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international logistics, customs procedures, and import/export regulations.
• Understanding of Amazon FBA and Shopify fulfillment processes.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable supply chain systems.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
