This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Drive inventory reduction to achieve target levels through analysis and collaboration with the planning team.

• Ensure material availability to maintain high On Time performance.

• Promote on-time delivery by analyzing and collaborating with production operations at the Fabrication site.

• Facilitate the weekly Material Review Board process.

• Manage recovery efforts and communication concerning customer backorders.

• Participate in cycle count and monitor WIP floor inventory accuracy metrics.

• Develop standard work training documents and provide training on systems and supply chain functions.

• Implement scheduling concepts such as ABC, Kanban, Trigger Points, Min Max, Heijunka, and EOQ.

• Collaborate with material/network planners to align supply with departmental schedules.

• Analyze production performance to identify opportunities needing focused support from the team.

• Utilize project management techniques to achieve goals and objectives.

• Create daily schedules based on anticipated delivery dates and ascertain available-to-build quantities considering material shortages.

• Make critical decisions, build consensus, and resolve conflicts across functions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.

• A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in planning and supply chain functions.

• Proven experience with tools such as SAP or other ERP systems.

• Expertise in MRP, ERP, and MS Office.

• Exceptional computer skills; proficiency in ERP, Business Intelligence systems or equivalent, as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong understanding of the S&OP process.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage across multiple departments and various organizational levels.

• Solid analytical skills for forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities.

• Demonstrated abilities in influencing, negotiating, and conflict management.

• Excellent collaborative management skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of effective supply chain performance, including supply planning, customer service, supplier, and asset management.

• A strong passion for driving process and systems improvements.

• CPIM or CSCP certifications from APICS.
