Supply Chain Analyst – Design, Hub Build Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the movement of materials throughout the supply chain.

• Create tools and processes that align with supply chain objectives and goals.

• Generate metrics and monthly performance scorecards for suppliers.

• Collaborate with management to enhance supply chain efficiency and supplier partnership.

• Analyze issues to devise sustainable strategies for the supply chain.

• Formulate forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics decision-making processes.

• Examine best practices within the supply chain and formulate strategies for business cases.

• Perform daily business analyses to support supply chain operations.

• Develop methods for providing monthly updates to suppliers.

• Assist with central replenishment tasks and work with vendors on inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies.

• Design, assess, and audit supply chain metrics and data.

• Collaborate with merchants on promotions, pricing adjustments, and exit strategies.

• Create decision-support tools and financial models to analyze inventory cost/benefit trade-offs.

• Evaluate multi-tier distribution channels for product-category cost and service-level trade-offs.

• Develop forecasting tools that support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers.

• May offer guidance or training to junior personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the following states: Texas, Georgia, Washington, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, New York, Illinois, Alabama, or California.

• Previous experience in supporting warehouse design/build, network optimization, or distribution center transformation projects.

• Intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries, joins, and subqueries.

• Experience in slotting optimization, inventory control, and replenishment planning.

• Practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP WM or SAP EWM.

• Strong skills in Power BI and/or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

• Excellent data analytics and problem-solving abilities driven by data.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% based on project requirements.

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related field and 2–5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience in a related area.

• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.
