This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Accelerate the processing of open orders by collaborating closely with suppliers and buyers to guarantee timely delivery of purchase orders.

• Ensure that delivery dates are up-to-date and realistic within the system.

• Communicate with suppliers to uphold the industry's best practices for On-Time delivery standards.

• Coordinate part requirements and product necessities among Program Management, Program Finance, Engineering, and Material Managers/Planning.

• Address invoice discrepancies to facilitate timely supplier payments.

• Maintain files, logs, invoice records, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation.

• Manage information on computer systems effectively.

• Assist in expediting orders as needed.

• Support buyers in reaching out to vendors for pricing and scheduling delivery dates.

• Prepare standard requests for quotations and purchase requisitions.

• Manage pricing adjustments, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date changes, invoice issues, and change order logs.

• Provide administrative and clerical assistance in relation to supply chain and procurement activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary/Associates Degree accompanied by at least 2 years of related experience.

• Capability to obtain a US security clearance.

• Occasional travel may be necessary, up to 10%.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR procurements.

• Prior experience utilizing MRP systems.
