Supply Chain Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve key metric reporting, which includes P&L outcomes, route details, mileage, cost per mile, miles per route, product cube per route, pallets per route, fuel usage, and planning metrics.

• Track monthly EIA fluctuations in fuel prices against both budgeted and projected fuel rates.

• Assess cost implications resulting from realignments, overrides, and alterations in shipment strategies.

• Examine, develop, and sustain data queries associated with metric and financial reporting.

• Assist the Transportation team with analyses for RFPs and union negotiations.

• Evaluate transportation metrics to pinpoint, communicate, and address opportunities.

• Deliver weekly forecasts along with monthly and quarterly P&L reports for leadership and distribution centers.

• Create annual budget planning and forecasting models.

• Collaborate with dedicated and private fleet teams to develop bottom-up budgets and integrate initiatives and layers.

• Recognize and model budget shifts and variance explanations compared to prior forecasts.

• Support Transportation partners as a member of the Network Planning team.

• Coordinate with Transportation and Finance teams on annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly projections, and closing processes.

• Assist with labor and other forecasting processes as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving roles.

• 2+ years of expertise in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

• 2+ years of experience in building complex models to analyze financial and metric data.

• 2+ years of experience interacting with large databases, SQL, or other query tools.

• 2+ years of experience utilizing data visualization tools and developing reports.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, supply chain, or distribution.

• SAP experience is preferred.

• Experience with Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or Tableau for data visualization is preferred.

• Preferred experience with SQL, Snowflake, and data mining.

• Preferred experience in constructing and maintaining complex financial models.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

• Capability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities to meet critical deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships and contribute effectively in a team environment.
