Sales Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and disseminate sales reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.

• Monitor pipeline activities, customer trends, and sales performance metrics.

• Extract and transform data from Salesforce, data lake, warehouse systems, and business intelligence platforms.

• Conduct routine data audits and perform validation checks.

• Identify data gaps and highlight inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with Retail, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Bid, IT, and other teams to comprehend reporting requirements.

• Resolve data issues and provide timely insights.

• Document reporting methodologies.

• Assist in tool maintenance.

• Enhance the processes for data construction and sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.

• High level of proficiency in Excel, particularly with Power Query.

• Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.

• Practical experience using a business intelligence tool such as Power BI or a similar platform.

• Capability to audit, validate, and ensure data accuracy throughout reporting workflows.

• Reliable home office setup.

• Self-motivated work habits.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting sales operations or collaborating with sales and marketing teams.

• Preferred: Knowledge of data lake environments or enterprise data extraction methods.

• Preferred: Background in documenting reporting processes or assisting with tool migrations.
