Supply Chain Analyst 3 – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Guarantee consistent visibility regarding supply chain capacity, affordability, quality/reliability, and availability.

• Collaborate with Procurement Agents and fellow Supply Chain Analysts to create supply chain strategies and establish supplier networks for products and services.

• Assess supplier performance and adherence to Insitu contracts, FAR, AS9100, and additional standards; pinpoint and address risk areas.

• Track industry trends in demand, availability, and lead times; enhance supply chain planning.

• Represent Supplier Management and Procurement during company-wide program reviews, customer audits, and designated projects.

• Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders on critical matters; organize meetings and events.

• Contribute to Insitu’s Supplier Development Program through market research, KPIs, capacity planning, statements of work, risk mitigation plans, supplier capability assessments, lead time management, cost management, pricing trends, supplier surveys, and supplier business assessments.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide internal training on supply chain compliance topics.

• Review terms, conditions, and flow-down clauses for compliance.

• Assist Procurement Agents and Supply Chain Analysts with negotiation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting.

• Preferred knowledge of AS9100 standard and aerospace industry practices.

• Proficient in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from relevant sources; summarizing findings; and formulating conclusions and recommendations.

• Capable of identifying and understanding broader issues, challenges, and opportunities.

• Competent in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing personal activities consistently.

• Effectively communicates information and ideas through various media in both individual and group settings.

• Understanding of relevant government agencies and processes.

• Awareness of current issues (e.g., supply chain, governmental, international) affecting functional responsibilities.

• Ability to analyze a wide range of supplier information, including financial data, market position, management capabilities, and risk analysis.

• Proficient in managing and delivering project outputs, project accounting and evaluation, and optimizing the contributions of team members using project management tools.

• Adopts a proactive approach to gathering information, following up with individuals, and ensuring projects/tasks are completed timely and accurately.

• Preferred ability to negotiate pricing, delivery, contract terms and conditions, and other agreements with suppliers.

• 6-9 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4-7 years with a Master's degree.
