Field Inventory Analyst – Aortic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Implement U.S. Aortic field inventory strategies and initiatives to meet service, inventory, scrap, obsolescence, gains and losses, and freight objectives.

• Act as the district liaison between field employees/customers and Global Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Care, Marketing, Logistics, and IT.

• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to coordinate inventory strategies.

• Assist with inventory repositioning for urgent cases, field orders, short-date management, stagnant inventory management, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy corrections.

• Organize daily logistics to ensure products are available at the required locations at the right times.

• Mobilize inventory in response to supply constraints within the designated district.

• Work in conjunction with Customer Care Supply Chain Analysts and Field Inventory Program Managers.

• Analyze data, escalate issues, formulate business cases and alternatives, and drive actions among stakeholders.

• Communicate and facilitate inventory management initiatives with sales teams.

• Monitor and uphold inventory levels at customer accounts.

• Perform cycle counts for customer accounts and address inventory discrepancies.

• Identify, segregate, return, and exchange expired or short-dated units.

• Educate customers on inventory management, care and handling, inventory levels, use-by-date reviews, order placements, returns, and swap-outs.

• Support the sales field with signed Consignment Agreements and Inventory Schedules.

• Provide regular evening and weekend on-call support for critical business needs.

• Travel locally on a regular basis, including occasional overnight or flight travel.

• Comply with FDA regulations, quality and training standards, SOPs, and work instructions.

• Maintain up-to-date training and product knowledge.

• Suggest and implement process enhancements; meet deadlines and drive results.

• Work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with no experience.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is necessary at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below the Principal level.

• A valid driver's license with a clean record is required.

• Ability to support overnight/long-distance travel to the SEC District when necessary (25–50%).

• Preferred experience in inventory management within a supply chain or distribution environment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Salesforce, and mStar is preferred.

• Capability to travel overnight on short notice as required.

• Six Sigma Yellow, Green, or Black Belt Certification is preferred.

• APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated skills in negotiation and influence management.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

• Proven track record of producing consistent, detail-oriented, high-quality work.

• Ability to act logically, calmly, and efficiently in a chaotic and stressful environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain-related regulatory requirements and the ability to evaluate procedures and resolve gaps.

• Experience in a regulated environment, preferably within the medical device industry.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
