Supply and Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders while providing expert sourcing guidance and support at all levels.

• Oversee the quality and efficiency of sourcing operations, ensuring pricing accuracy, processing purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.

• Perform commodity research, select and evaluate suppliers, and manage requests for information, quotations, and proposals.

• Guarantee that products and services are procured within budget and that ancillary materials and investigational products comply with local import and export regulations.

• Facilitate the return of rental equipment and medical devices, manage returns and refunds, and collaborate with suppliers to acquire credit documentation.

• Manage and resolve sourcing help desk tickets, develop and execute Statements of Work, and carry out on-demand sourcing tasks to support study requirements.

• Analyze data and trends to aid in predictive bulk purchasing and initiate the qualification of new suppliers in coordination with Procurement as necessary.

• Proactively identify sourcing challenges, take ownership of resolutions, and collaborate with suppliers to pinpoint comparable compliant ancillary supplies.

• Collect necessary supplier and manufacturer documentation for import and export operations.

• Address quality concerns related to third-party suppliers and manage risk mitigation until resolution is achieved.

• Support internal customers with sourcing inquiries and system issues while mentoring junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent in biology, pharmacy, another health-related field, international trade, business administration, or logistics, or relevant professional experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical studies, associated supply chain operations, sourcing, and contracting principles.

• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and other Good Practice requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving study demands.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines and significant urgency while ensuring meticulous attention to detail and first-time quality.

• Over 4 years of sourcing or procurement experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical setting.

• Insight into sourcing operations and supplier management.

• Experience working within cross-functional business teams.
