Senior Logistics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership for the Distribution Center and oversee supervisors managing turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions.

• Regularly interact with customers to promptly address issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Spearhead strategic operational planning and execution.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.

• Recruit, supervise, develop, and assess employee performance.

• Foster positive employee relations at assigned accounts.

• Ensure open and effective communication within and across work groups.

• Analyze data and implement necessary actions.

• Manage profit and loss statements based on organizational complexity and scope.

• Drive proactive safety programs in line with company policy.

• Train and enforce safety management plans, processes, and training.

• Monitor equipment maintenance through checklists and observations.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.

• A Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or an industry-related field is required.

• At least five (5) years of experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports is required.

• Three (3) years of Profit & Loss responsibility is preferred.

• A minimum of one (1) year of customer interaction experience is preferred.

• Experience in analyzing data and trends is essential.

• OEM experience is preferred.

• Experience collaborating across multiple teams with a focus on continuous improvement is necessary.

• Strong problem-solving abilities are required.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills are necessary.

• The ability to effectively manage Profit & Loss statements may be required depending on the complexity and scope of the operation (preferred).

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Flexibility to operate and a self-driven attitude to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
