Senior Director, Integrated Planning & Analytics – Global Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead enterprise planning across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial goals through Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

• Foster profitable growth, operational agility, and patient-centered outcomes within a global rare disease supply network.

• Own and manage the global IBP framework while maintaining the IBP rhythm across product, demand, supply, reconciliation, and executive reviews.

• Oversee the S&OE process to align near-term demand, supply, and inventory decisions with the comprehensive IBP framework.

• Integrate clinical and commercial planning utilizing shared supply sources and manufacturing resources.

• Supervise the reconciliation of commercial, patient, named-patient, early-access, and clinical trial demand signals.

• Lead inventory management, risk-based scenario planning, and initiatives for supply resilience.

• Chair cross-functional IBP forums and establish governance structures and decision-making rights.

• Lead and nurture the Integrated Planning & Analytics team through mentoring, performance objectives, feedback, and training.

• Collaborate with Finance on AOP/LRP cycles, operational and financial planning, portfolio integration, and strategic investment cases.

• Direct long-range capacity planning and modeling to accommodate future portfolio expansion and patient demand.

• Define the IBP technology vision alongside Digital/IT and ensure data quality for essential planning attributes.

• Spearhead data analytics, dashboards, advanced planning insights, and risk-based scenario assessments.

• Encourage the adoption of IBP practices, enhance planning capabilities, and mentor global and regional planners.

• Serve as an internal expert and thought leader on best practices in IBP/S&OP for rare disease and biologics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain or operations within biotech, pharmaceutical, or rare disease sectors.

• Demonstrated leadership in global S&OP/IBP processes, including long-range capacity planning, inventory strategy, and executive decision support.

• Strong proficiency in ERP, advanced planning systems, and analytics tools that facilitate scenario modeling and business decisions.

• Proven success in leading through senior executives in complex, matrixed global organizations.

• Comprehensive understanding of life science supply chains, including access variability, extended lead times, biologics complexity, and patient-critical supply continuity.

• Strong financial acumen with a track record of cross-functional leadership in matrixed organizations.

• Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent).

• Experience with biologics, gene therapy, enzyme replacement therapies, or other complex rare disease modalities.

• APICS/ASCM, SCOR-P, or equivalent certification.

• Experience in integrating clinical and commercial supply processes.

• Knowledge of global regulatory/GxP constraints that uniquely affect rare disease therapies.

• Willingness to travel internationally (10–25%).
