This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of supply and inventory planning for Blueland’s Marketplace channel, focusing primarily on Amazon.
• Convert demand forecasts into monthly and weekly production, purchasing, and inventory deployment plans.
• Create manufacturing plans in collaboration with contract manufacturers, taking into account demand, capacity, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and material availability.
• Integrate Amazon requirements, promotional events, Prime Day, seasonal peaks, product launches, and other demand influences into supply plans.
• Track Amazon inventory metrics, including weeks of supply, inbound inventory, sell-through rates, and replenishment needs.
• Formulate inventory allocation and replenishment strategies for both Amazon and Blueland’s warehouse network.
• Oversee production priorities and relay forecasts, purchasing needs, and evolving business requirements to contract manufacturers.
• Anticipate packaging needs, manage purchase orders, and ensure the availability of packaging materials.
• Supervise the availability of raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Handle purchase order issuance and monitor inbound materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketplace, Finance, Logistics, and Operations teams throughout the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Assist in product launches, transitions, promotions, and discontinuations.
• Evaluate changes in forecasts, inventory trends, production performance, and supplier limitations.
• Maintain planning parameters, item data, lead times, MOQs, and inputs for supply planning.
• Promote continuous improvement in supply planning processes, tools, reporting, and supplier collaboration.
• Coordinate with co-packing vendors on pre-kitted marketplace inventory.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Amazon supply chain, inventory planning, or replenishment.
• Over 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, or related fields, preferably within CPG or a rapidly growing omnichannel consumer brand.
• Proven experience in translating demand forecasts into actionable production and inventory plans.
• Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and/or external manufacturing partners.
• Background in planning packaging or raw material needs while collaborating with external suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of safety stock, lead times, service levels, inventory turnover, and supply duration metrics.
• Capability to identify supply and inventory risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized; adept at managing substantial data sets accurately.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt plans in response to changes in demand, production capacity, and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and hold external partners accountable.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel is essential.
• Experience with NetSuite and supply/demand planning systems is preferred.
