Supplier Resiliency Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee assessments of key suppliers within the Maritime Industrial Base.

• Manage root cause analyses and execute corrective measures to enhance first-pass yield and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Collaborate with suppliers to promote continuous process improvement initiatives and guarantee long-term supplier resilience.

• Supervise project planning, implementation, monitoring, and closure activities.

• Coordinate project tasks across technical, operational, and administrative functions while staying within scope and budget.

• Offer operational guidance and resolve issues alongside quality assurance, engineering, and program management teams.

• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Create reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and government stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in a technical field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in manufacturing or supplier management.

• PMP certification is mandatory.

• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in process improvement is preferred.

• Strong expertise in supplier assessments, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement methodologies.

• Proven track record of managing projects within a manufacturing or supply chain context.

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining focus on project goals and deadlines.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and external suppliers.

• Active Secret Clearance is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Ability to work within the Continental United States.
