Research Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of commercial, academic, and member-focused research projects from feasibility and scoping through partner coordination, launch, data collection, analysis readiness, reporting, and closure.

• Develop and nurture relationships with key collaborators in academic, healthcare, CRO, and commercial sectors.

• Create consistent processes, workflows, and documentation to ensure high-quality research operates at industry speed and scale.

• Convert research inquiries into study plans, operational needs, documented decisions, milestones, reporting, and evidence deliverables in collaboration with expert teams.

• Oversee budgets, contracts, partner responsibilities, data-transfer expectations, privacy and consent requirements, timelines, and issue resolution.

• Track study progress, identify risks early, and communicate trade-offs to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Aid in evidence dissemination through reports, publications, abstracts, partner deliverables, clinical education, and commercial or regulatory materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing human research, clinical research, health outcomes, real-world evidence, healthcare programs, or similar partner research initiatives.

• Proven experience in independently managing external partnerships in academic, commercial, clinical, CRO, and/or healthcare settings.

• Track record of successfully guiding research or outcomes projects from feasibility and planning through execution, reporting, and closure.

• Strong skills in project management, documentation, risk management, and cross-functional communication.

• Knowledge of research data flows, participant privacy and consent, data quality review, and familiarity with tools like spreadsheets, project trackers, survey platforms, EHRs, EDC, CTMS, eTMF, or similar systems.

• Completion of human-subjects research and GCP/CITI training, or a willingness to undertake necessary training.
