Supplier Quality Specialist – External Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust quality partnerships with suppliers to ensure exceptional performance and adherence to compliance standards.

• Evaluate supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Assist in the processes of supplier selection, evaluation, qualification, and approval.

• Lead investigations into quality issues, non-conformances (NCs), and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) related to suppliers.

• Organize and execute supplier audits, ensuring follow-up on corrective measures.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders to tackle quality-related challenges.

• Recognize potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards within the medical device sector.

• Adhere to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and EU MDR standards.

• Analyze quality data and trends to enhance supplier performance and product quality.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, maintaining a customer-centric focus and striving for operational excellence.

• Assist with additional quality-related tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance.

• A background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated sectors.

• Practical experience with quality investigations, NCs, CAPAs, and supplier corrective actions.

• Understanding of supplier audits and supplier quality management processes.

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulations pertaining to medical devices.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in working with systems such as SAP, TrackWise, Documentum, or similar tools.

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive demeanor.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related technical area.

• Solid understanding of quality management systems and standards.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
