Supplier Quality Specialist – External Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture strong quality partnerships with suppliers to guarantee high performance and compliance standards.

• Assess supplier performance utilizing KPIs and promote ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Assist in the processes of supplier selection, evaluation, qualification, and approval.

• Lead and facilitate investigations regarding supplier-related quality concerns, non-conformances, and CAPAs.

• Organize and execute supplier audits, ensuring follow-up on corrective measures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders globally to tackle quality-related issues.

• Identify potential risks and help ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards in the medical device sector.

• Operate in compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and EU MDR.

• Evaluate quality data and trends to enhance supplier performance and product quality.

• Contribute to continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.

• Assist with additional quality-related tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance.

• A background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry.

• Practical experience with quality investigations, NCs, CAPAs, and supplier corrective actions.

• Understanding of supplier audits and supplier quality management systems.

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and medical device regulations.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in using systems such as SAP, TrackWise, Documentum, or similar tools.

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset.

• Bachelor's, Engineering, or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.

• Solid understanding of quality management systems and standards.

• Proficient in English communication skills, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
