Supplier & Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee global freight procurement activities, including sourcing and negotiating rates while ensuring accurate pricing data management.

• Accurately execute procurement activities and maintain data within the RFQ tool.

• Recognize special-handling needs and implement process enhancements and solutions.

• Request, analyze, and negotiate freight rates across various transport modes.

• Assist in global RFI/RFQ processes and keep rate cards up to date.

• Spot opportunities for cost savings.

• Aid in supplier management and foster relationship development.

• Keep supplier documentation organized and participate in supplier meetings and Quality Business Reviews.

• Collaborate with the Freight Bill & Audit, Pooling, and Pricing teams to address billing inquiries.

• Anticipate changes in volume and provide precise pricing information.

• Address operational requests promptly.

• Support dashboards and enhance data visibility.

• Analyze trends and volume metrics.

• Identify avenues for improving procurement processes, efficiency, and supplier performance.

• Leverage technology and AI to enhance data quality, visibility, and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or freight forwarding.

• Proven experience in managing and negotiating freight quotations across various transport modes.

• Strong understanding of global RFQ processes, rate management, and supplier coordination.

• Experience in creating, maintaining, and analyzing transportation rate cards.

• Proficient in procurement tools and systems, including RFQ platforms.

• Strong skills in Excel and data analysis.

• Experience in supporting cost-optimization initiatives.

• Solid AI knowledge and the ability to utilize different platforms to create tools, dashboards, and visuals that enhance data quality.

• Capability to work accurately with large datasets and pricing structures.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

• Additional language skills are a plus.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work across functions and support global stakeholders in a dynamic setting.

• Must be located in or able to relocate without sponsorship to Poland, Portugal, or Spain.

• Must have authorization to work in the current country of residence without sponsorship.
