This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure part health through effective order coverage and lead-time oversight.
• Work collaboratively with buying and contract performance management teams to enhance procurement processes.
• Implement sourcing policies, lead negotiations and commercial strategies, and address supplier issues on a daily basis.
• Facilitate supplier selection, proposals, quotes, analysis, negotiations, business approvals, supply awards, and contract drafting.
• Oversee both internal and external relationships to ensure efficient execution of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with supplier teams and procurement operations to guarantee compliance with sourcing and procurement standards.
• Maintain supplier order health to prevent contracts from expiring in terms of quantity or duration, and renegotiate as per sourcing policies.
• Direct the analysis of accounts payable discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Lead part procurement or technical change projects necessitating supplier collaboration and support.
• Create innovative contractual solutions to enhance contract performance and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Participate in the development of strategies and policies, ensuring effective delivery within your area of responsibility.
• Convey complex or sensitive information and foster consensus among stakeholders.
• Analyze data and leverage technical expertise to inform recommendations.
• Make decisions and resolve moderately complex tasks or issues impacting the function.
• Must be the spouse of an active duty, Reserve, or National Guard member in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, or Space Force.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be "career-ready" with the relevant educational background, professional certifications, or work experience for the selected corporate track.
• Must be available for a full 12-week schedule, generally Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing is required.
• Must fulfill U.S. Person status criteria for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or recognized asylee/refugee status.
• Proficient commercial skills in negotiations, supplier management, and commercial strategy.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Capability to lead programs/projects successfully.
• Proficiency in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Established skills in project management.
• Strong communication, decision-making, collaboration, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
