This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage supplier relationships and guarantee part health through effective order coverage and lead time management.
• Work alongside buying and contract performance management teams to enhance procurement processes.
• Implement sourcing policies, oversee negotiations and commercial deal strategies, and address daily supplier issues.
• Advance supplier selection, review proposals and quotes, conduct quote analysis, facilitate negotiations, secure business approvals, award supplies, and author contracts.
• Oversee internal and external relationships to ensure successful execution of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with supplier teams and procurement operations to ensure adherence to sourcing and procurement requirements.
• Maintain supplier order health and renegotiate contracts in line with sourcing policies and guidelines.
• Direct the analysis of accounts payable discrepancies to facilitate timely reconciliations.
• Spearhead projects related to part procurement or technical part modifications that necessitate supplier involvement and support.
• Create innovative contractual solutions to enhance contract performance and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and policies while ensuring effective delivery within the designated area of responsibility.
• Leverage technical experience and expertise in data analysis to support well-informed recommendations.
• Make decisions and address moderately complex tasks or challenges impacting the function.
• Active military personnel within their final 180 days of service.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing.
• Willingness to travel less than 15% of the time.
• Strong commercial skills in negotiations, supplier management, and commercial strategy.
• Proficient in analyzing and resolving issues.
• Capability to lead programs and projects effectively.
• Skills in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Proven project management expertise.
• Ability to communicate complex messages clearly and build consensus.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to demonstrate U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
