This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Manage supplier relationships while ensuring the health of parts through effective order coverage and lead time oversight.
• Work in collaboration with purchasing and contract performance management teams to enhance procurement processes.
• Facilitate supplier selection, proposals and quotations, perform quote analysis, engage in negotiations, secure business approvals, allocate supply, and draft contracts.
• Oversee both internal and external relationships to ensure the successful execution of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with supplier teams and procurement operations to maintain compliance with sourcing and procurement standards.
• Monitor supplier order health and renegotiate contracts in accordance with sourcing policies and guidelines.
• Direct the analysis of accounts payable discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Lead procurement and technical change initiatives that necessitate supplier involvement and support.
• Devise innovative contractual solutions to enhance contract performance and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Assist in the formulation of strategy and policy, ensuring effective delivery within your scope of responsibility.
• Leverage technical expertise for data analysis to substantiate recommendations.
• Make informed decisions and address moderately complex challenges impacting the function.
• Active military personnel within the final 180 days of their military service.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing.
• Willingness to travel for less than 15% of the time.
• Proficient commercial skills in negotiations, supplier management, and commercial strategy.
• Competence in analyzing and resolving issues.
• Capability to lead programs and projects effectively.
• Skills in documentation, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Proven project management abilities.
• Exceptional communication, decision-making, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Eligibility to meet U.S. Person requirements for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.
