Supervisor, Transplant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of the Transplant Liaison Team

• Plan, monitor, assess, and manage workflow

• Facilitate internal and external meetings with DVA and Non-DVA partners

• Deliver formal and on-the-spot training regarding processes

• Guide the team in achieving program outcomes and metrics

• Provide leadership for direct reports

• Cultivate and maintain a positive and rewarding work environment

• Handle teammate employment matters, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions, with necessary approvals

• Resolve teammate relations issues in a timely and appropriate manner

• Support teammate development through Individual Development Plans (IDPs), Performance Development Reviews (PDRs), coaching, mentoring, and training

• Work with direct reports to establish professional development objectives

• Review and authorize time for non-exempt direct reports

• Monitor overtime, attendance, and paid time off (PTO)

• Participate in and/or facilitate team meetings, conference calls, and training as required

• Manage and enhance the daily operations of the Transplant Liaison Program

• Allocate resources, develop the team, and coordinate clinical care

• Enhance waitlist management, transplant rates, and equitable access to resources

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in computer applications, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Capability to handle confidential information and issues with discretion and sound judgment

• Ability to lead a team and provide clear work direction

• Strong commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality

• Knowledge of basic wage and hour laws, as well as federal, state, and local regulations
