This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage repairs along with moderately complex maintenance tasks on building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.

• Recruit, interview, and onboard Maintenance Technicians.

• Communicate candidate qualifications to recruiters.

• Monitor team turnover rates and implement strategies for improvement.

• Recognize team strengths and identify areas for development.

• Develop or validate training curricula.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to maintenance staff.

• Create and oversee succession plans.

• Set measurable individual and team goals and objectives.

• Gather feedback and offer coaching and guidance.

• Conduct timely evaluations of team members.

• Propel continuous improvement in operational metrics and organizational objectives.

• Coordinate large teams during emergencies.

• Ensure fair and consistent management of recognition and rewards.

• Facilitate the exchange of ideas and information within the department.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and monitor departmental cost trends.

• Supervise functions related to electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, machinery, pipe fitting, facilities, grounds maintenance, and machining.

• Coordinate personnel efforts, provide technical guidance, and review the progress of assignments.

• Direct the movement of furniture, materials, and equipment.

• Manage the work of outside contractors.

• Resolve operational issues that require immediate action.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Three to five years of experience in the maintenance field, including supervisory experience, or demonstrated skills necessary to perform the job.

• Experience in supervising maintenance functions and personnel.

• Knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, machinery, pipe fitting, facilities, and grounds maintenance.

• Capability to perform or oversee machining operations such as drilling, punching, milling, lathe work, grinding, welding, cleaning, painting, and sheet metal fabrication.

• Ability to conduct preventive maintenance inspections and actions.

• Skill in training employees in new techniques, safe work practices, and housekeeping standards.

• Capability to coordinate the efforts of outside contractors.

• Ability to comply with safety, health, and company security policies.
