This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of program activities while adhering to the contracted budget.
• Implement program guidelines and procedures specific to each project.
• Manage operational staff and coordinate team efforts effectively.
• Support the development of program metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Track program metrics to ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
• Address complex escalated issues and unresolved cases.
• Engage in the interviewing and assessment of potential employees.
• Provide training to employees and create or revise training materials and procedures.
• Document decisions and discussions into formal workflow processes.
• Foster employee development and monitor adherence to quality, service, and program standards.
• Hold team meetings at least once a month, complete with agendas and minutes.
• Aid in delivering program information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Align team goals and expectations with management.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop policies, procedures, and business plans.
• Identify, recommend, and implement operational enhancements.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, or patient support/access (HUB) services is preferred.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in pharmacy and/or medical benefit verifications, prior authorization, and/or appeals is required.
• Experience in customer service is essential.
• Call center experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a successful team is required.
• Flexibility in working hours is necessary.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Active participation in both in-person and virtual meetings/events (internal and external) is expected.
• Supervisory responsibility for 1 to 20 direct reports.
