Material Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee Global Supply Chain Management initiatives within the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile program.

• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and the integrated product teams or equivalent units of the program.

• Formulate and execute material strategies.

• Conduct material forecasting.

• Ensure adherence to cost and scheduling requirements.

• Assess metrics to evaluate the health of Global Supply Chain Management.

• Perform evaluations of suppliers.

• Create and assist in Rough Order Magnitudes (ROMs) and proposals.

• Propel processes to successful completion in alignment with a demanding delivery schedule.

• Adjust to both strategic and tactical tasks, escalating issues when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Background in supply chain, operations, program planning, estimating, compliance, or another comparable field.

• Earned Value Management System certification is preferred.

• Proficiency with Office 365 is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.

• Active and existing DoD Secret clearance is required from day one.

• Ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities.

• Competence in processing information from diverse sources.

• Skill to thrive in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.

• Ability to operate with minimal supervision and recognize when escalation is necessary.
