This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of program activities within the allocated budget.
• Implement program guidelines and procedures specific to projects.
• Manage operational personnel and align team activities.
• Assist in the creation of program metrics and the identification of efficiencies.
• Monitor metrics to ensure compliance with program SLAs.
• Address complex, escalated, and unresolved cases.
• Engage in the interviewing, assessment, training, and development of staff.
• Develop and revise training materials and project-specific procedures.
• Convert decisions and discussions into documented workflow processes.
• Monitor employee adherence to quality, service, and program standards.
• Facilitate monthly team meetings, including agendas and minutes.
• Assist in delivering program information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with managers to establish team goals and expectations.
• Formulate policies, procedures, and business work plans alongside the Program Manager.
• Participate in both internal and external meetings/events, whether in-person or virtual.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred: Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, or patient support/access (HUB) services.
• Required: Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in pharmacy and/or medical benefit verifications, prior authorization, and/or appeals.
• Customer service experience is mandatory.
• Call center experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with a strong focus on Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and cultivate a successful team is required.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Supervises between 1 to 20 direct reports.
