Supervisor, Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the daily operations of a team of Claim Analysts

• Empower the team to fulfill client and corporate obligations

• Meet team quality, production, and service standards

• Foster staff development

• Assist in the successful onboarding of new clients into the Unit

• Maintain relationships with existing clients

• Address complex or challenging claim inquiries

• Collaborate with the department manager to ensure departmental objectives are achieved

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• 3–5 years of experience in claim processing

• Self-motivated individual who thrives with minimal oversight

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Capability to work efficiently with employees/members, providers, clients, and various levels of co-workers, including Client Managers and all staff levels

• Aptitude for applying common sense to follow instructions provided in oral, written, or diagram form

• Skill in addressing problems across diverse situations and achieving resolutions

• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)

• Adaptable; willing to engage in ongoing process enhancement

• Capacity to learn new/proprietary systems, adjust to different system platforms, and effectively utilize MS Excel/Word

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred

• Experience in Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA is preferred
