Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the daily functions of the accounts receivable team, which includes overseeing inventory management and staff training.

• Organize and coordinate follow-up tasks to guarantee fair work distribution, prompt account follow-ups, and achievement of collection targets.

• Conduct weekly quality assurance assessments of the team’s performance.

• Review weekly productivity reports for staff members.

• Deliver weekly updates on staff productivity to the AR Analyst.

• Assist in addressing and resolving inquiries from both external and internal clients.

• Prepare and keep necessary reports and logs up to date.

• Stay informed about current healthcare-related issues and regulations.

• Identify challenges and collaborate with the manager and director to address them.

• Provide training, monitor performance, offer feedback, and implement disciplinary actions when required.

• Uphold professionalism and maintain confidentiality.

• Track team attendance and manage PTO usage.

• Disable remote client access for employees who have been terminated or transferred in a timely manner, as applicable.

• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures, ensuring that direct reports receive the necessary training and compliance.

• Use, safeguard, and disclose patients' PHI strictly in accordance with HIPAA standards.

• Limit the viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary for fulfilling assigned responsibilities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a physician business office or a similar environment.

• More than 5 years of experience in a medical management setting.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and flexibility.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.

• Capable of exercising sound judgment and making decisions based on accurate and timely information.

• High levels of integrity and dependability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven orientation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Must have a smartphone or electronic device that can download applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Ability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively, manage stress, and meet the outlined physical demands.
