Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately generate and dispatch client invoices in a timely manner.

• Monitor incoming payments and assign them properly to client accounts.

• Oversee outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts utilizing existing templates and escalation procedures.

• Maintain precise accounts receivable records and reconcile account balances effectively.

• Report discrepancies, unusual account activity, or payment issues to the finance lead.

• Organize and keep client account records current in Xero/QuickBooks or comparable systems.

• Assist with month-end accounts receivable closing activities as instructed.

• Take responsibility for the accounts receivable process, ensuring client balances are accurate and up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts receivable, billing, or bookkeeping.

• Proficient in Xero/QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.

• Familiarity with Excel for basic tracking and reconciliation tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.

• Excellent written communication skills in professional English for regular account correspondence.

• Ability to work remotely while adhering to established processes.

• Experience with a growing or founder-led organization is advantageous.

• Dependable, organized, and comfortable with repetitive, high-volume tasks.

• Capable of managing financial information responsibly.
