Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise both new construction and renovation projects, focusing mostly on retail and restaurant developments, along with residential and alternative energy initiatives.

• Examine project documentation and ensure its accuracy.

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to identify construction needs and strategize procedures.

• Organize subcontractor work schedules and comprehensive project plans.

• Offer technical guidance and oversee productivity levels.

• Control quality standards and construction expenses across various projects.

• Make determinations related to scheduling, safety protocols, and budget management.

• Keep on-site contract documentation and daily records up to date.

• Act as the representative of Core States Group to architects, engineers, owners, vendors, and municipal authorities.

• Educate workers on construction techniques, equipment handling, safety regulations, and company protocols.

• Support workers involved in construction tasks using hand tools or other machinery.

• Travel nationally up to 100%, flying to project sites as necessary, and operate a company vehicle.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent, ideally with new construction and renovation commercial projects like retail or restaurants.

• Knowledge of local codes and regulations.

• High school diploma preferred; additional education is a plus.

• Significant national travel up to 100%.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to access and maneuver through job sites and construction zones.

• Competence to perform essential duties effectively.
