This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly report to the Growth Strategist as a vital member of the team.
• Assist in the execution of sourcing strategies and manage subcontract activities.
• Lead the engagement of subcontractors and the sourcing strategy during the capture and proposal process.
• Create requests for proposals (RFPs), assess supplier capabilities, and conduct competitive analysis.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS requirements and GDIT policies.
• Coordinate proposal inputs related to subcontracts, including cost/price data, teaming documents, non-disclosure agreements, compliance artifacts, and technical contributions.
• Integrate small business and socioeconomic considerations into the process.
• Analyze capture requirements and pinpoint subcontracting risks, gaps, and opportunities.
• Advise the Capture Manager and Proposal Manager on mitigation strategies.
• Raise risk concerns to leadership as necessary.
• Utilize artificial intelligence to detect potential gaps or risks between subcontractor agreements and customer requirements.
• Prepare and present subcontractor status updates, risk assessments, and pricing insights to leadership and stakeholders involved in the capture process.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements for templates, workflows, and subcontractor engagement models.
• Employ GDIT source-to-pay and proposal systems to monitor subcontractor activities and ensure documentation is complete.
• Provide precise data for color team reviews and leadership briefings.
• Bachelor's degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Over 3 years of experience in federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development.
• Strong knowledge of FAR-based environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in developing RFXs for suppliers.
• Background in analyzing subcontractor proposals.
• Experience in negotiating agreements or terms.
• Familiarity with source-to-pay or contract management systems.
• Strong grasp of subcontracting processes during the capture and proposal phases.
• Understanding of price analysis, competitive sourcing, and compliance issues.
• Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot problems, and proactively communicate challenges to capture and procurement leadership.
• Effective communication skills with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership.
