This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the Growth Strategist as a vital team member.
• Assist in the implementation of sourcing strategies and subcontract management tasks.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement and sourcing strategies throughout capture and proposal development.
• Create requests for proposals and assess supplier capabilities.
• Conduct competitive analysis.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS regulations and GDIT policies.
• Organize subcontract-related proposal inputs, which include cost/price data, teaming documentation, non-disclosure agreements, compliance artifacts, and technical volume contributions.
• Integrate small business and socioeconomic factors.
• Analyze capture requirements while identifying subcontracting risks, gaps, and opportunities.
• Suggest mitigation strategies to the Capture Manager and Proposal Manager.
• Raise risk concerns to leadership when necessary.
• Utilize artificial intelligence to pinpoint gaps or risks between subcontractor agreements and customer requirements.
• Prepare and present subcontractor status updates, risk assessments, and pricing insights to leadership and capture stakeholders.
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to templates, workflows, and subcontractor engagement models.
• Leverage source-to-pay and proposal systems to monitor subcontractor activities and ensure complete documentation.
• Provide precise data for color team reviews and leadership briefings.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree.
• 5+ years of experience in federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development.
• Strong knowledge of FAR-based environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in developing RFXs for suppliers.
• Background in analyzing subcontractor proposals.
• Experience in negotiating agreements or terms.
• Familiarity with source-to-pay or contract management systems.
• Strong understanding of subcontracting processes during capture and proposal phases.
• Experience in price analysis, competitive sourcing, and compliance considerations.
• Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively escalate challenges to capture and procurement leadership.
• Exceptional communication skills with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership.
• U.S. Persons required.
• Willingness to travel 10–25%.
