This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in strategic capture and proposal initiatives to enhance business expansion, competitive positioning, and customer mission achievement
• Report directly to the Growth Strategist
• Aid in executing sourcing strategies and managing subcontract activities
• Lead engagement with subcontractors and sourcing strategies during capture and proposal processes
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs), assess supplier capabilities, and conduct competitive analyses
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS regulations and GDIT policies
• Coordinate proposal inputs related to subcontracts, including cost/price data, teaming documentation, non-disclosure agreements, compliance artifacts, and technical contributions
• Integrate small business and socioeconomic factors
• Analyze capture requirements to pinpoint subcontracting risks, gaps, and opportunities
• Suggest mitigation strategies to the Capture Manager and Proposal Manager, and escalate issues to leadership as necessary
• Utilize artificial intelligence to detect gaps or risks between subcontractor agreements and customer demands
• Prepare and present subcontractor status updates, risk assessments, and pricing insights to leadership and capture stakeholders
• Identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements to templates, workflows, and subcontractor engagement strategies
• Leverage GDIT’s source-to-pay and proposal systems to monitor subcontractor activities and ensure documentation is complete
• Provide precise data for color team reviews and leadership presentations
• Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, supply chain, government acquisition, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may replace the degree requirement
• Over 5 years of experience in federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development
• Strong knowledge of FAR-based environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in developing RFXs for suppliers
• Skills in analyzing subcontractor proposals
• Experience in negotiating agreements or terms
• Familiarity with source-to-pay or contract management systems
• Comprehensive understanding of subcontracting processes during capture and proposal phases
• Knowledge of price analysis, competitive sourcing, and compliance factors
• Ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and proactively communicate challenges to capture and procurement leadership
• Capability to communicate clearly with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership
• U.S. Persons required
