Student Wellness Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a dynamic caseload of students, offering brief, solutions-focused counseling.

• Address new student referrals and facilitate ongoing services or connections to university resources.

• Provide asynchronous assistance via the institution’s online mental health support program.

• Conduct student wellness training for both students and staff members.

• Offer support through email, phone, and text messaging to students, faculty, and staff.

• Aid students with understanding University policies and procedures concerning personal wellness and emergency situations.

• Develop and maintain resource lists and databases for both employees and students.

• Establish and sustain proactive outreach strategies addressing basic needs insecurities.

• Manage communications through the department's email queue.

• Provide individual support, counseling, interventions, and referrals to University or community resources.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, ideally in social work, psychology, public health, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in case management services and working with adult student populations is essential.

• Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals or groups within the community.

• Military experience is preferred.
