This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Oversee the implementation of Cayenta CIS software and professional services projects from start to finish, including go-live and stabilization phases.
• Guide and mentor Application Consultants and project personnel across various consulting levels.
• Offer solution oversight for multiple concurrent Cayenta CIS implementations.
• Distribute and balance consulting resources among client projects.
• Track team performance metrics, utilization rates, billability, ticket and incident trends, and provide reports to senior management.
• Promote standardized delivery frameworks, fit-to-standard configurations, industry templates, and a training-first approach for adoption.
• Lead complex or new CIS solutions, custom modifications, new utility types, regulatory environments, and first-time integration efforts.
• Evaluate CIS configurations, integration designs, and data conversion strategies.
• Enhance Cayenta’s implementation methodology, documentation, and training for staff.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather configuration or customization requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments on the transition from sales to services and post-go-live processes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and manage handoffs to Customer Support.
• Set up, monitor, and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and allocations.
• Keep track of project health, milestones, go-live events, variances, and Estimate to Complete reporting in conjunction with Finance.
• Manage client relationships, executive communications, steering committee updates, delivery risks, mitigation strategies, change control, and escalation processes.
• Organize and deliver internal consultant training and sessions at Harris user conferences.
• Advocate for AI-assisted tools for creating statements of work, status reports, test documentation, meeting summaries, and variance analysis.
• Create best practices, standards, and processes to enhance professional services efficiency.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or consulting capacity, preferably within utility or municipal software implementations.
• At least 4 years in a senior or managing consultant position, demonstrating success across 4 or more complex CIS implementation projects or 20+ successful upgrades; or 2+ years of formal leadership experience for candidates with a people-management background.
• Proven ability to successfully oversee multiple concurrent software implementation projects for utility or municipal clients.
• Familiarity with the utility customer-to-cash lifecycle and/or public sector implementation environments.
• Established capability in managing project profit and loss, budget forecasting, consultant utilization, and contract scope control.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid software implementation methodologies.
• Proficient in PSA/project and test management tools, such as Jira, CayStone/SpiraTest, ServiceNow, Power BI, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to manage executive client relationships and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Proven ability to build and maintain robust client relationships.
• Possession of a current, valid passport.
• Legally authorized to travel internationally, including necessary visa exemptions or travel visas for Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
