Student, Data Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Implement machine learning algorithms to classify and safeguard Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Design and develop automation tools in Python using Visual Studio Code for effective metadata management.

• Lead initiatives focused on machine learning projects and process optimization.

• Create detailed data dictionaries.

• Develop comprehensive data flow and lineage maps.

• Conduct data profiling and analysis.

• Drive project management efforts to ensure timely deliverables.

• Collaborate with the Finance Data Governance Team.

• Report directly to the Senior Business Analyst, Data Governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or Data Sciences (or an equivalent field).

• Advanced skills in Python, Visual Studio, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Experience with VBA, Tableau, and financial reporting is highly regarded.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

• Strong analytical capabilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Self-motivated individual with excellent time management and prioritization skills.

• Proven ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies and business concepts.
