This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Deliver field risk engineering services to fulfill underwriting needs
• Create and execute customer service strategies aimed at minimizing losses and enhancing customer operations
• Offer engineering assistance to the underwriting team by participating in client broker meetings
• Conduct field engineering services, primarily for larger accounts and prospects within the region
• Provide advanced property consultative services to clients
• Recognize risks with significant potential for loss
• Examine the causes and implications of major losses and property management programs
• Support the marketing of Zurich risk transfer insurance products in collaboration with underwriting professionals and agents across various business segments
• Willingness to travel 25–35%
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering field OR a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 8 or more years in the Risk Engineering field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Experience with High-Performance Risk (HPR) properties
• Background in Loss Control/Risk Engineering within the insurance sector
• Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) is preferred
• Excellent communication and consultative abilities
• Exceptional collaboration skills
• Proven history of successful teamwork
• High level of proficiency with PC and various software or systems
• Employment sponsorship is not available
