This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct structural and stress analysis utilizing both hand calculations and finite element analysis techniques.

• Execute structural dynamic analysis, including rotor dynamics, torsional system dynamics, and environmental equivalence assessments.

• Collaborate with designers to integrate analysis results, influence load paths, and enhance structural designs focusing on strength, weight, and manufacturability.

• Assess failure modes and assist in the development of test programs.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and customer specifications.

• Facilitate structural testing and relay findings to cross-functional teams.

• Offer technical insights on design concepts, balancing risk, cost, and performance considerations.

• Assemble stress-analysis documentation to support the release of engineering drawings and associated documents.

• Aid in test execution and evaluate test outcomes to confirm and validate designs.

• Handle multiple priorities effectively.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

• 4–7+ years of experience in the Aerospace sector is preferred.

• Extensive experience in structural analysis and design methodologies.

• Proficient in ANSYS, ABAQUS, and Siemens NX (Unigraphics) CAD software.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of structural mechanics, dynamics, and material science.

• Skill in interpreting complex analytical results.

• U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance is preferred.
