Professional Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical expert for customer installations and implementations.

• Install and set up NICE software, hardware, servers, and virtualization platforms.

• Integrate NICE solutions within customer networks, PBX, CTI, and telephony environments.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, database, and telephony issues.

• Execute Installation Test Procedures to ensure systems are ready for production.

• Oversee customer communication, manage expectations, and handle technical escalations.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Support, and other technical teams during implementations.

• Prepare site documentation, as-built records, testing, and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Provide fundamental technical training to customer teams.

• Record lessons learned and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

• Offer remote support to customers between on-site deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant implementation or field engineering experience.

• Experience working directly on customer sites in a vendor, consultant, or implementation engineer role.

• Familiarity with telephony, hardware, networking, and database systems.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server.

• Strong knowledge of networking, routing, and firewall configurations.

• Experience with SIP, VoIP, SIPREC, CTI/CDR, and telephony systems.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Wireshark, IIS, Active Directory, and various troubleshooting tools.

• Practical experience with hardware and server setups.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service abilities.

• Willingness to travel domestically frequently, including overnight stays, short-notice travel, and working outside standard business hours as needed.

• Public Safety experience is highly preferred.

• Certifications such as Security+, Microsoft, networking, Cisco, or related credentials are advantageous.
