This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and the executive leadership team on strategic priorities, special projects, and daily strategic operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate and business unit strategies.
• Perform market, competitive, customer, and industry research to uncover risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Assess strategic initiatives through both quantitative and qualitative analysis and formulate recommendations.
• Create business cases, financial models, investment analyses, sensitivity analyses, and scenario plans.
• Evaluate business performance, operational metrics, and financial outcomes to back strategic recommendations and executive decision-making.
• Aid in prioritizing and monitoring strategic initiatives, executive action items, measurable outcomes, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare for executive meetings, business reviews, customer interactions, and strategic discussions through thorough research and analysis.
• Generate executive presentations, materials for the Board of Directors, strategic review documents, executive summaries, recommendations, and briefing materials.
• Simplify complex analyses into clear, engaging, and visually appealing communications.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of relevant business experience are required.
• An MBA is highly preferred.
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals and financial concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and structured-thinking abilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication capabilities.
• Proficient in creating executive-level presentations, business summaries, and clear recommendations.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while effectively collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Capability to manage various priorities, navigate ambiguity, and maintain a keen attention to detail.
• Professional maturity, sound judgment, discretion, and accountability when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy, verified through an MVR check.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Management, Business Analytics, or a related field is desired.
• Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, finance, business analysis, or market research is preferred.
• Familiarity with developing business cases, financial models, executive presentations, or implementation roadmaps is desired.
• Participation in university consulting programs, case competitions, internships, or client-based business projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, technology, industrial markets, or public company environments is desired.
