Strategist, Patient Recruitment – Site Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Patient Recruitment Team to devise recruitment strategy plans at both project and site levels.

• Provide training and information to project teams on recruitment strategies alongside the Project Manager and/or CTM.

• Engage in BD handover, kickoff meetings, and investigator meetings.

• Create study templates for site recruitment plans and tailor them for each specific site.

• Track subject enrollment progress, ensure target achievement, and recommend enhancements to recruitment strategies.

• Develop recruitment models based on feasibility, site initiation, and actual recruitment outcomes.

• Construct enrollment trackers with recruitment forecasts using CTMS or other relevant systems/trackers.

• Gather updated recruitment forecasts from sites post-activation to estimate LPI or suggest strategies such as adding sites, advertisements, or physician outreach.

• Support the Project Manager with client inquiries regarding recruitment and advertising.

• Work directly with clients to define recruitment strategies and budgets while collecting client feedback.

• Design and create advertisements in line with media and ethics committee guidelines.

• Advise sites on achieving recruitment goals utilizing their advertising budgets.

• Ensure that project documentation is filed appropriately in eTMF and archived.

• Manage the global advertisement IRB submission and approval processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing patient recruitment strategies and site engagement.

• Experience collaborating with Patient Advocacy groups.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in Communications or a related field, with 3 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma/DEC with 5 years of relevant experience.

• At least 2 years of pertinent work experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors.

• Familiarity with good clinical practice, ICH standards, and applicable regulations.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Proficiency in Spanish or French is considered an asset.

• Experience in a research site environment is advantageous.

• Experience managing Patient Advocacy groups is a plus.

• Background in patient recruitment strategies is beneficial.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, versatility, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in Spain.
