
Strategist, Patient Recruitment & Site Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with the Patient Recruitment Team to devise patient recruitment strategy plans at both project and site levels.
• Educate and train project teams on the recruitment strategy alongside the Project Manager and/or CTM.
• Engage in BD handovers, kick-off meetings, and investigator meetings.
• Create and tailor site recruitment plan study templates for each specific site.
• Track subject enrollment progress, ensure targets are met, and suggest enhancements to recruitment strategies.
• Develop recruitment models based on feasibility, site initiation, and actual enrollment performance.
• Construct enrollment trackers that include recruitment projections utilizing CTMS or alternative systems/trackers.
• Collect updated recruitment forecasts from sites after activation to predict LPI or propose new recruitment strategies.
• Support the Project Manager in handling client recruitment and advertising inquiries.
• Engage directly with clients to formulate recruitment strategies and budgets, and gather client feedback.
• Create and design study advertisements in line with media and ethics committee guidelines.
• Advise sites on meeting recruitment targets while utilizing their advertising budgets.
• Ensure project documentation is properly filed in eTMF and archived.
• Oversee the global advertisement IRB submission and approval processes.
• A BA/BS degree is required, preferably in Communications or a related discipline, with 3 years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma/DEC with 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors.
• Familiarity with good clinical practices, ICH standards, and applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Spanish or French is an advantage.
• Experience in a research site environment is a plus.
• Background in managing Patient advocacy groups is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Patient recruitment strategies is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, versatility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
