
Strategic Sourcing Specialist II – Indirect Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take the lead on sourcing initiatives independently and manage comprehensive indirect procurement activities.
• Assist with intake processes, market research, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid administration, evaluation coordination, and the development of recommendations.
• Aid internal stakeholders in defining business requirements, project scope, service expectations, pricing models, and supplier evaluation criteria.
• Manage supplier communications and ensure that sourcing files are organized, fair, and well-documented.
• Evaluate supplier proposals for commercial completeness, pricing competitiveness, business alignment, and stakeholder support.
• Navigate complex negotiations and supplier strategy initiatives.
• Facilitate the negotiation of commercial terms, pricing schedules, statements of work, contract renewals, and amendments.
• Oversee contract reviews and approvals in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Risk, and business stakeholders.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, due diligence, documentation collection, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor sourcing milestones, identify savings opportunities, track supplier status, manage contract actions, and assess procurement metrics.
• Maintain updated category and supplier information, sourcing templates, bid documentation, and procurement records.
• Offer internal customer support regarding procurement processes, tools, and policies, including Coupa workflows.
• Contribute to the follow-up on supplier performance, issue resolution, and post-award coordination.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and compliance enhancement.
• Analyze procurement and spending data, support category management, track savings and cost avoidance, and create leadership reports.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Procurement leadership.
• Ensure regular full-time attendance of at least 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract administration, vendor management, or a related business function.
• Familiarity with competitive bidding, proposal analysis, contract coordination, and supplier management.
• Experience in supporting indirect procurement or service-based sourcing is preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement systems, contract workflows, or spend reporting tools is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple commodities/categories, including professional services, IT, facilities, office services, advertising, or mobility.
• Proficiency in supplier segmentation, sourcing templates, procurement policy enforcement, or KPI/dashboard reporting.
• Foundational understanding of sourcing, contracting, supplier evaluation, supplier relationship management, and procurement compliance.
• Ability to organize and handle multiple sourcing events and deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including expertise in pricing and cost-structure analysis.
• Capacity to review supplier proposals, compare pricing, interpret data, identify trends, and summarize insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships across Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, and business teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
• In-depth understanding of procurement and sourcing systems, including Coupa, Jaggaer, and Ariba.
• Familiarity with AI tools, data visualization tools, spend analytics tools, and contract management systems.
• CPSM certification is a plus.
