Strategic Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of supplier agreements, which includes contract management and continuous supplier relationship oversight.

• Create and implement sourcing strategies tailored for designated suppliers and expenditure categories.

• Perform market research, assess industry trends, and pinpoint opportunities to enhance supplier performance and business value.

• Lead and assist in competitive sourcing initiatives such as RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.

• Evaluate supplier proposals, pricing frameworks, commercial conditions, and overall cost of ownership.

• Facilitate and lead negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, service levels, payment terms, delivery requirements, and contractual agreements.

• Discover opportunities for cost reduction, procurement optimization, process enhancements, and value generation.

• Work in collaboration with Operations, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders on sourcing and contracting projects.

• Monitor sourcing projects, supplier performance indicators, contract adherence, and savings results.

• Assist in improving procurement tools, reporting functions, and sourcing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or a similar field.

• Strong skills in analysis, organization, communication, and project management.

• Experience in assessing supplier performance, pricing, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.

• Demonstrated success in managing supplier relationships and supplier contracts.

• Background in supporting or leading sourcing events, bidding processes, and supplier negotiations.

• Robust business acumen with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and achieve results in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related area is preferred.

• Professional procurement or supply chain certification is preferred.

• Experience with supplier analytics, procurement reporting, and performance evaluation.

• Familiarity with contract management and procurement technology platforms.

• Exposure to the automotive, fleet, transportation, or mobility sectors is preferred.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
